Time to bring some funk to the concert band! Citrus Smash, originally named after a popular orange soda, has a driving groove that’ll excite your band and liven up your set-list. This piece is a great tune to feature a talented up-and-coming drummer to keep the band grooving. And just wait till sections “E” & “F” when the band is going to be counting to get the ensemble section sounding incredible!
The Emerging Musician’s Real Book Vol. 1 was written to support up-and-coming musicians with a set of tunes that can challenge them at their level and help them grow into confident jazz musicians!
